How it was made
The site was planned and drafted with the help of an AI system, working from documents published for patients by MedlinePlus (US National Library of Medicine), the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the US Food and Drug Administration. On 2026-10-22 each cited document was fetched once and the guides were written and checked against that text. Every guide names the documents it relies on and paraphrases them.
